Yes. But one must ask, would it be better to kiss the prom queen and go home early or hang around later into the night dancing with the ugliest girl in the room? You're still dancing, but which story would be better to tell in the morning?

Gonzaga looked bad twice. Put some lipstick on the Pig and keep dancing. Make sure the photos are taken from a distance with poor lighting - thus slightly blurred and spin the story anyway you want.

I'd say being crowned king of the sophomore dance is a better story than simply having gone to senior prom.

WCC_Commish



I personally don't agree with the commish. If you're in the tournament and you're a #1 seed it's time to step up to the plate and show what you got. Gonzaga showed that they dominated a weak conference this year and ended up with a #1 seed and were probably overranked. Sorry commish, I know you're trying to save face, but I don't buy it. The comment is especially ludicrous considering that Gonzaga has always been the underdog creating the "madness". They just got a taste of their own medicine.



As to BYU, Every game they win now will bring more attention to the program, although, I think they'll have their hands full with Mercer.

It is also nice to see BYU still playing while ALL the MWC teams (including Wyo in the CBI) are now done.

I luv the fact that BYU is still playing, while Gonzaga and St. Mary's are home staring out a window. Would I rather the Coug's went to the NCAA and get beaten in the 1st round? No. I'd rather be playing. These last 2 games have been very fun and great publicity for the Y program. I hope we keep winning. It's all positive for BYU. Finally, the team is playing up to their potential.

Sorry guys but Santa Clara beat Purdue last night to make the semi's of the CBI. They play George Mason next. And no tweet for them either? Guess its easy to see who the favorite child is in this family.

BYU would have been slapped in the face by the prom queen this year. Instead, BYU's settling for a good looking girl that his mom would be proud of. :lol:



BYU is NOT dancing with any ugly girls at this point.
