Priceless: UNLV complaining that they had to play Cal at San Jose....

Not gonna lie, I'm enjoying their failures. I don't even care that it's throwing off my bracket.



With all the talk this year about how strong the conference was this year, I had them winning a couple games. Oh well.

Ha ha ha......I still hate New Mexico. Good to see them choke even though it kind of screws my brackets

UNM losing to Harvard? That is lame MWC.

CSU had a nice victory tonight, however. Since I'm a Colorado native, this was nice to see.

Alford is a classless bum. Glad to see UNM get exposed as being overrated, along with the MWC.

You guys nailed it. Why I fell for theMWC buzz is now killing brackets. I will never again pick Alford. Although I was hoping for Dave Rice. Mt biggest busts in my bracket: SMC, UNLV, UNM, Valpo. Oh well.

I was at the game last night and loved every minute of the UNM collapse. Alford is a punk and a weasel and I thoroughly enjoyed watching him lose. I hope this is painful for him for a long, long time. I had UNM in the final four (yes, I'm an idiot) and I still loved the collapse.



UNM looked terrible from the opening tip. Not sure why they got so much love but they are not a good team in any way. That's the last time I'll believe all the pundits.

On a related note, I wasn't over impressed with Gonzaga yesterday either. If they don't step it up tomorrow they will lose to Wichita St.

I really believed we were going to see an historic 16 over 1 upset.



To be fair to the ZAGS, I'm not sure I've ever seen a D1 game with such inconsistent officiating. There were several spells where breathing seemed to be a foul, and other spells where full on NHL-style body checks produced no whistles. That kind of inconsistency can favor an underdog since they aren't trying to maintain poise, just energy.

Agree on all counts. There were times we were in awe at how inconsistent the officiating was. Worst of the four games yesterday in SLC.

VERY VERY PROUD OF MY CRIMSON!!!



First post-season win in any tournament. Ever. And against NMU. Couldn't have happened against a more despised opponent (well, maybe the U, but that'd mean they'd have to make it to the postseason. Bwaaaahaaahaaa!). I never had a shred of respect for that program. They were the bottom of the MWC for classlessness.



I left the year before Tommy Amaker came to coach in Cambridge. Wish I could have been there, but it's great to see them do so well now. Really proud of that team. Good times on the Charles!!



And beating New Mexico. Man. Can't get over it. Doesn't get any better. :D

And I refuse to let the interloping :utard: s co-opt the use of a noble shade that predates them by more than two centuries. Besides, they're more of a scarlet than a true crimson--which is entirely appropriate given the fidelity of their student body. Hester Prynne would feel right at home.
