Sounds like he was objective, balanced, and fair. I know - that annoys a lot of fans.



So you can just shut out all of your local reporters since the group think on here thinks they are Ute Trolls, homers, or dirt bags - or you can be thick-skinned and read them and occasionally get breaking news or good insights.



But seriously - BYU had a bad offense last year vs BYU standard performance.

I agree with what you're saying. I was being unclear. I was just saying that Hell didn't freeze over because Monson was not being 100% anti-Monson, that was all. I don't expect a writer to call BYU's offense anything other than bad the last few years. And I certainly expect Monson to bring it up any and everytime he gets the chance. Expectations met, Hell not frozen over...

Didn't he? It's somewhat laughable because being a SL Trib writer you cannot say anything 100% positive about BYU. If they were explaining Jimmer they would claim that his socks were not evenly pulled on or something stupid. I noticed them.

That's right, because I can see that Monson is a hack and the sports journalist equivalent of a radio morning show shock jock, that means that I think all writers that aren't pro-BYU are hacks :roll:

Oh contraire. For me, it has nothing to do with being exposed to a variety of ideas and learning - and only seeking out those I agree with. I know Monson personally. He's a pile.
