2012-13 Raul Delgado - Regular Season Grades

It's time to hand out grades for the players of the 2012-2013 basketball team.

For the season, he had 170 minutes, 18 of 52 Field Goals, 4 of 5 free throws, 8 of 31 from three, 48 points. 6 offensive rebounds, 18 defensive rebounds, 12 assist, 8 turnovers, 9 steals and 3 blocks.

Very disappointing. His upside is his defense, but wasn't that much of a force to merit a scholarship in my opinion. Now saying that, it's not that there was someone else available to take his scholarship, but I had higher expectations. It wasn't that I expected him to be any superstar, but I wanted someone who really was tougher on the floor like someone told me he would be and could hit the 3-point shot with a little more regularity.

Decent defender at times. Like everyone else on the perimeter, just simply couldn't shoot.

I thought we brought him in partly because of his three point shooting. Is that incorrect?

We took him for his shooting ability and he failed in that area. Does not deserve a good score.

F Can't shoot or defend. Might as well have stayed where he was.

Hate to give him a bad grade, but another miss on recruiting. IDK maybe he will develop over the next 7 months.
