More Obama Brilliant Moves

So - the Obama Admin. (read Obama) closes the White House to tours - under the pretext that it costs too much. The tours became a victim of the sequester. (tours cost $74,000 p/ week, per the Secret Service).



Note: Eric Bolling of Fox news made an offer yesterday to pay the $74,000 tab, if the White House re-opened the tours. No response from the White House. Newt Gingrich said he could find about 3 or 4 donors that could and would write a check and get the tours back for an entire year. No response from the White House.



But, here's what I do not understand. Somehow we have the money to give the anti-semitic Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood $250 million? Whaaat? That's right, earlier this week Sec. of State John Kerry met with Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi and promised them $250 million.



Why? Because Egypt has "extreme needs." I have no doubt of that. Graft and corruption are very expensive these days.

Update: Donald Trump has promised a $5 million donation to pay for the reopening of the White House tours. He stipulated, only if a Liberal will match his donation with a $5 million donation of their own. So far, nothing but crickets.

Fox news is reporting that an anonymous ranger said they are cutting where it hurts and is visible.

Trump said he would pony up $5 million if a liberal like Bill Maher would also contributed to keep the tours going.



This is what the government does. When cuts have to be made but the government doesn't want make any, they need public opinion to change and oppose cuts. So the government doesn't find waste to cut. They find important cuts to make that will hurt.



Gee, we could stop invalid unemployment payment to felons and save hundreds of millions. Or we could cut national park service and close down Yellowstone.



By getting people to want to keep the park open, they can avoid having to cut anything.

Agreed Spiff. +1. Hey, here's a novel idea - we could not give away the hundreds of millions of dollars to countries and peoples (PLO) that hate our guts. Such as - Pakistan, Egypt, PLO, etc.



Did you boyz know that in a recent poll, about 10% of Pakistan's people view the USA favorably? Basically, 90% of Pakistan hates our guts. Yet, we gave them over $1.5 billion in foreign aid last year. It is estimated that since 9/11 we have given Pakistan between $18-19 billion.



Yet, we don't have enough money to conduct White House tours for U.S. school children. :bug:

Hey, we've got to make sequestration look like a really painful thing. Take it out on some kids to make our point.



I personally don't care if there are tours at the White House. Especially if it is costing the USA that much money each week. But I do not get the game-show style giveaway to other countries when we have so many issues here at home. Good grief, it really is time for a complete cleansing of the inner vessel.

For me, it's all about priorities. If White House tours were cancelled forever because of safety and fiscal concerns - fine. But, that means the White House really tightens it's belt. Not just superficially.



Did you know Barack Obama's weekend golf outing with Tiger Woods cost enough to finance White House tours for an entire year? The golf weekend cost $1 million. That's a real eye opener. If Obama had stayed home and not golfed, it would have saved 341 federal employees from being furloughed.



A recent book put the comfort cost of the Obama's in 2012 at $1.4 billion to the tax payer. That's for vacations in Hawaii, date nights, ski trips, golfing, parties, including Barack and Michelle taking separate jets to arrive at the same place (the presidential jets cost, per the Air Force $181,000 per hr.), etc.



You think the Obama's are reigning in their lifestyle? Nope. The Obama White House has the biggest staff ever in U.S. history, the highest wages ever, logs more miles on Air Force One, and spends more money than any president on White House expenses.

The problem is less than half the people are on to this. When more than half get on to this the obama boat that is tipped so far to the left may capsize and hopefully the pieces can be put back together.

There's a large part of America who, even if they are aware of this crap, don't care because they are getting their piece of the pie.

Although if you are looking for the real government propaganda look no further than the front page of USA Today on Tuesday. I'm in the lounge waiting for my flight from Phoenix to Newark when what do I learn? - wait times coming back to the states are expected to double according to Janet Napolitano because of the sequester. But no one thinks to ask why. Because included in the cost of the ticket is a $24 charge for the TSA to spend 15 seconds scanning my passport.

This is way too true. Afghanistan is a hole of a country. We should have left there the day after bin Laden was killed. It is a hopeless cause that has only served to drain our treasury of money and men for over a decade.

Another beautiful info-bit: As we know, White House is closed to tours because there is NO money ($1 million p/ year). But, the TSA is getting new uniforms - $50 million worth of new uniforms.



Better yet - guess where the new TSA uniforms are being made? Mexico. LOL! No joke. I bet there are plenty of uniform manufacturers right here in the USA that would love that $50 million govt. contract. Ya think?

Okay, so I am really confused now. I thought it was Dennis Rodman that went to the east to meet with a tyrant (that hates this country and wants to see America brought to its knees) and came back to tell us that the tyrant is really a great guy, knows what he is doing and so we should trust and agree with him. Did I get that wrong?

Don't worry, Dennis Rodman is such a great diplomat and representative of the USA that within 10 days of him returning from North Korea the North Koreans nullified the cease-fire agreement that had been in place for nearly 60 years.

I think Dennis Rodman went to N Korea and N Korea welcomed him because both thought being with the other would at last make themselves look not so bad....
