I noticed from Greg Wrubell's tweets that the offense was using placards, the big posterboard-type signs, for signaling from the sidelines. I think this is awesome and I hope that it becomes a permanent part of the hurry up offense.

Here's a little article about Oregon's fun use of the placard system for their offense.

If it were up to me, I would put a picture of a triple combination, a star wars x-wing fighter, a fully loaded J-Dawg, and then the phrase "5th priority" in the corners. Translation: Read option to the x receiver?

I hope this doesn't make Anae, who has been historically prone to predictability and easy to read, easier to read.

What could BYU use on their placards?

Fully Invested

Perfection

Position Mastery

Grit

Determination

Flowing Locks

Ripped Abs

Lovefest

Mancrush

Hype

What would be some other good buzzwords from the last few years?

I'm sorry, did I you say "good words"? I bet money Bronco doesn't use the word grit for awhile.

But if you must--

-Remember the Brokeback (triple entendre, for you sharper folks--can you guess all three allusions?)

-"I can't quit you." (Hint for above)

"Run, Riley, Run!"

"Be tougher than all the rest of us!"

"Go on! Be a Riley!"

"Forever Riley"

"Where the Red Riley Grows"

"Red Riley! Red Riley!"

"Better Riley than Red."

"Shoot me up, Mik!"

"Riley Somebody."

"Where's the Riley?"

"Remember the Riley's"

"Badee, abadee, abadee, that's all Riley."

AND LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST: - 4

That will be there to let the quarterback know that it doesn't matter how badly you perform, as long as BMendenhall "trusts" you, you can play the worst game in the history of college football and he will leave you in until it is too late in the game for anyone else to make a comeback, thus keeping your position safe.

I also hear that, based on Spring camp, our QBs will be wearing green jerseys during games this year. As a well-educated fan, this deeply upsets me!
