Wasn't at the practice, but by all accounts it appears that the coaches were impressed by the pace, enthusiasm, and playing by Coach Anae's standard, "Play hard, Play fast". Wonder if this is pre-season hype, or if they have truly implemented a new style of practice and performance.

Just saw Greg Wrubell tweeting that they were using jumbo-sized signal cards during practice. Some call them "placards" and the Oregon offense used these a lot. I like the four quadrant designs they had with nonsensical pictures in each corner. Anyone have a link to some pictures of Oregon's placards? I'd love to design the BYU versions...

Apparently the O is focused on getting off a snap every 24 seconds. This really puts a lot of pressure on the defense.

Bronco indicated that all QBs, after first day, are about the same - problems with Center/QB exchange.

The conditioning of the players is very good - they put them through a lot of challenging drills and they responded well.

Three starters out with injury. Apparently there are enough players to provide 2-3 deep despite not having many starters and JC players in Spring.
