Cody Hoffman off season surgery

So, an article today mentions Cody as having offseason shoulder surgery in a very nonchalant, passing manner. I had no idea he even had a shoulder issue. Any details on this?

Hoff got hurt in the Wazzu game, and played injured all year. The surgery was to repair it. He'll be good to go in the Fall. I expect he'll sit out the contact drills in Spring though.

I remember Hoff's Wazzu game injury, but had no idea it lingered all season. What an impressive season for Hoff with the shoulder injury! I hope Hill, Munns, or Olsen can continue to get him the ball in 2013.

How did he get a shoulder injury in the Wazzu game? the only hit he took was in the leg and he left with what was described as a thigh contusion.
