ESPN to retain Big East TV rights

This is good for BYU. ESPN should be able to help BYU get some games against the better Big East teams in October and November. It could be like an unofficial scheduling affiliation.



Get 3-4 Oct/Nov games against the MWC (Boise State, Utah State, Hawaii plus Nevada/UNLV/Air Force/SDSU) and 2-3 games Oct/Nov against the Big East (Houston/SMU, UCF/USF, and Cincy/Navy/UConn/E.Carolina), throw in a little Notre Dame, ACC, or Big Ten, and BYU's independent schedules could be more than adequate.
