Utah Coaching Rumor: Crowton on deck

Rumor is Whit offered Dennis Erickson the job and he has until Sunday to decide. If he does not take the job, Gary Crowton is 2nd in line at Utah to be the co-OC, and to help mentor BJ and ARod, and the rest of that staff that has been demoted over time.



If it is true, not sure how I feel about it. Crowton is a great person, even if his time as BYU HC was a mess. And his teams usually do well for 1-2 seasons, before they seem to implode. BYU plays Utah in 2013, but them not for 2 years after. Hate for them to play up for one more game against us.



Supposed to announce the hire Monday, whoever it is.

BJ and A-Rod. There's a joke there somewhere......

So Crowton is still available. I wonder if he can coach QBs or Receivers.
