Offers by BYU (Anae) and Arizona. Likely Anae had him on his list while at AZ.

Although he is being recruited by PAC-10 and SEC teams, apparently he has placed BYU at the top of his list because of his religious preferences.

Looks solid. Does anyone know what the tbs article said?

Some of the article was about how Anae was recruiting him while Anae was as at Arizona and how Mama had developed a really good relationship with Anae. As soon as Anae was hired by BYU he went down and offered Mama who I believe is LDS. Anae is a big reason why we are at the top of his list

Talo Steves paints an optimistic picture that he and his mother are very happy about BYU and Poly family culture. He will visit the campus this summer. He is also good friends with LDS TE #3 in country Tyler Luatua who also likes BYU. He was also offered. Sounds like a potential recruiting party and would be a very good tandem and foundational building block.

2J tweeted that he was visiting the campus today...he is built like a road grader.

Someone said he went to ND for the USC game. They said "he should go to ND so that he could get a fake girlfriend". Can't stop laughing.

Down to USC, UCLA, Bama and BYU. He will be visiting the Y in January on Recruit weekend.

The outcome of the ND game and performance in KHF Bowl Game will likely be a major factor in his decision.

Unfortunately, I think the outcome of the USC-UCLA game will be the major factor.

It's reported that he officially visited Notre Dame. Perhaps he is there to watch the BYU vs ND game. If so, BYU needs to represent well.

No, he went to the ND/USC game....I spoke with him. He had both schools on his list at the time. I think it will be Bama or SC.

Interesting points brought up in this video - his team qualifying H.S. Championship. He has a teammate and opponent that are both going to USC. He is definitely going to visit BYU but couldn't remember the name of the other school that he planned to visit. His primary concern is where he fit into the O system. Seemed more interested in the pro-style offense as opposed to up-tempo. Hopefuly Anae will convince him to come to the Y like he did with Brayden Kearsely.

According to Adam Gorney on Twitter.. Mama is visiting BYU at the end of January.

He's coming in when all of the other recruits come in for the weekend.

He's decided to go on a mission. This could be a huge get.

He cancelled trip to UCLA and is visiting the Y on recruiting day Jan. 31st. Good sign!
