Last Minute Recruiting

Remember not too long ago when Bronco stated that they were not going to tie up all of the recruits early in the year so they could grab some last minute gems. Seems like there is a big push to do that this year. Ones that they are pursuing:



Lloyd Tunstill (OL)

Gauis Vaenuku (DE)

David Fangupo (OL/RB)

Auston Johnson (LB)

Tomasi Laulile (DL)

Zach Barnes (DE)



Big emphasis, and not too surprising, shoring up the OL and DL and picking up a cadre of LB/athletes.

Atuaia and Poppinga have been to Portland week to keep the press on the Wilsonville kids. Shipley is evidently softer than Gurney thinks as he's now going to visit Cal with Ragin.

So did Shipley get offered by Cal now?

What about Pita Taumoepenu? 25 sacks after only playing one year of HS football is impressive. Hope we don't miss on this guy. Shouldn't we be able to find an offer for this guy? Shipley's offer should be put to better use now. Is David Fangupo class of '13 or '14? There's also JC recruit Desmond Williams.

Shipley is a gonner. Dude is not comfortable with byu.

If I were Shipley, I'd not be comfortable with BYU right now either. Who is his position coach gonna be? We act like that does not matter, but it does. That coach helps set the 2-deep for the position. You want to know who the guy is who will determine your PT.



Plus, Cal has that Dykes guy now, who was at LTech. What receiver wouldn't want to play in a scheme that throw it 50-60 times a game?
