really like the direction here. playe oline at byu. coached for like 14 years? oline coach and head coach. pretty good record. has even been coach of the year in his conference.

I was wonder if all our coaches would be OL coaches? His replacements have to be very good to replace who we are losing.

From what I am reading about these hires, BYU just upped the toughness level on the offense by a bunch. That makes me happy no matter what else happens.

If I had to guess, I;d bet on TEs or Oline. I;d bet Oline, with Anae doubling with TEs again. Easier to run TEs and OC duties than Oline and OC duties.

Atuaia RBs

Tujague Oline or TEs

Rumored-- Peterson QBs (was at SUU, then Sac State) RM. PLayed QB at Snow, then BC. Charlie Peterson's brother.

Rumored--Doman stays. Position unknown.

Still a lot of speculation, and I have no inside info on this.

I like the direction and focus that hiring Tujague brings. The O-line is going to get squared away. I have no doubt.

P.S. I don't like losing Cahoon. From everything I know, he was a solid contributor. It will be interesting to see how it all "shakes out."

Sweet---it must be our density...I mean, our destiny. Coach T comes from coaching one team of Cougars to another. Based on his neck circumference alone I'm excited.

Jay Drew just tweeted that College of the Canyons is confirming Tujague will coach OL.

On your list there, Lawboy, if we squeeze out Cahoon just so we can keep Doman, I'll be pretty steamed!!

I wouldn't be surprised, though, if there's a bit of meddling and TH, BM, or The Brethren are giving BD an option for a soft landing within the program if he doesn't find something else he likes better outside of it, and they're making Cahoon's future with the program contingent on BD leaving. That would explain why we haven't heard anything from either of these two--the only 2 coaches who haven't been officially let go and the only two who haven't said anything about there futures (besides Brandon's waffling).

Like others on this thread, I too am very excited about Coach T's neck circumference. It is probably bigger than my waist. I can picture him yelling at a player after a bad play or missed assignment and veins bulging out. If I were a player, I would probably wet my pads at that.

I'm also excited about the idea of having someone who has been a head coach for years, who has experience with leadership and can bring that to the team. I like this hire a lot.
