Anae gone, in near infamy.

Heaps gone, in infamy

Riley gone-graduated, in infamy.

Hill almost gone.

Lark gone, in near oblivion.

Doman gone in infamy.

Weber gone in apathy.

Reynolds gone in faded and slightly jaded glory.

Anae back with retread marks all over him.

DuPaix gone? Irrelevantized?

Did I miss anyone?

It's like a freakin graveyard. What's wrong with this trend? Particularly after the manic hopes and expectations of 2011, new OC, talk by coaches, players, and admin of a NC. Wow.

I would guess that Cougar nation is a lot more guarded with these changes than in comparison to the last Major offensive changes in 2011, notwithstanding the bright lights of Hoff and KVN.

But what does all this portend for the incoming O staff.

Hoffman back to dominate.

Jamaal Williams back to dominate.

Apo back to finally live up to his hype.

Kane Friel back to find the consistency to dominate.

Ryker Matthew back.

Hill back from injury.

Billy Green coming in.

Marcus Matthews back from injury.

Austin Holt back from injury.

Brock Stringham with another year to get stronger and now more experienced.

Blair Tushaus with another year to get stronger and now more experienced.

Solomone Kafu with another year to get stronger and now more experienced.

Stop trying to find conspiracies and what ifs and would have beens. The incoming O staff has a TON of talent to work with. The offense last year left a bunch of points and plays on the field last year. They could have done much more than they did. Hopefully the new staff can get them to make them.

It portends the same thing it does every single year in life--change happens.

Players and coaches come and go. In every program every season. Just means you gotta prep the guys who are playing to be better than the rest, or to get the most out of them that you can.

Fair enough on both of your posts.

But now, who's the next coach to leave BYU? Will it be Bronco after next year when his contract runs out? I hope not. Will it be Anae because his toughness comes through and he locks a player in the shed? Or humiliates a player who is loafing?

There is probably more to be excited about than not. I am. Looking forward to spring ball.
