Elder Kyle J. Gummow

A few years ago I turned one of the Priest's in our Quorum, Kyle Gummow, onto CougarCorner. He is an avid BYU fan and, like most teens, loves facebook also. I have absolutely no use for facebook. I get tired of posts saying dumb things like, "Ummmmm," and "Bored," and "Cold," etc., etc., and then having like a million "likes" after them. But evidently Kyle "liked" CC. Kyle left on a mission last May and is currently serving in Toronto. As his past Scoutmaster and YM Pres., I get his weekly emails and stay in contact with him. But I must say that it warms my heart every time I open the Football Forum and see "Elder Kyle J. Gummow and 36 others like this" every time. Good kid. Good Elder. Great Cougar fan! If anyone comments on this post, I'll relay all good wishes to Kyle. It will do him wonders!

I served in Canada too, so my well wishes go out to him this winter (but I was in the really cold part of Canada)!

Enjoy your mission, it's 2 years that are a wholly unique experience in this lifetime. CougarCorner will be here waiting for you when you get back!

I was in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Elder Kyle Dawg - Congratulations on a fine choice - choosing to serve the Lord. Also, you are serving in a wonderful place. My father immigrated from Calgary, Alberta "back in the day." We still have family ties to Canada. Lots of wonderful folks up there.

I served in Michigan. And really, the only good thing that you can say about Michigan is that is just FEELS like Canada living there, but you still actually get to be in Merica!
