Not such a geek. That use to be the case - "x" number years back. Now? Comicon is a very mainstream, BIG deal. There is a guy in my ward, he and his wife go every year. Neither he nor his wife are geeks. They love it.



There are a couple of guys I work with that go every year. They said it is really fun. Of course, watching all the crazy costumes & hot chicks - LOL! A pos. side benefit. ;)

I told you I'm a geek. I seriously think I'll love it for a campy, funny, action flick.

Star Trek Into Darkness is the only movie that I will surely pay money to see. Can't wait!

That's it for me from your list. World War Z is a fun book, but I can't imagine how it translates to film. It seems more suited for an HBO series. I'd only add Elysium to my list. After the disappointment that was The Hobbit, Part 1 I really have no excitement for Part 2. Though I will go see it for sure.

Does ZERO DARK THIRTY count as a 2013 movie? I'm pretty excited for that one.

I was thinking the same thing, though I'd add hunger games as well. The big blockbuster action movie these days are so boring and predictable to me. I gave Captain America a chance a couple years ago, but had a hard time getting all the way through it.

I was thinking the same thing, though I'd add hunger games as well. The big blockbuster action movie these days are so boring and predictable to me. I gave Captain America a chance a couple years ago, but had a hard time getting all the way through it.

Hunger Games is tough for me. I liked the books but the first movie was pretty bland imo.
