We are finally starting to get some interesting bowl games. Here's my picks for the day. You can see how off I am with my picks.



Bell Helicopter Bowl

Air Force vs. Rice. I picked AF. Final: Rice 33, AF 14.



New Era Bowl

Syracuse vs. West Virginia. I picked WV. Final: Syracuse 38, WV 14



Kraft Hunger Bowl

Arizona St. vs. Navy. I picked ASU. Final: ASU 62, Navy 28



Valero Alamo Bowl

#13 Oregon St. vs. #23 Texas. I picked OSU. Final: #23 Texas 31, #13 OSU 27



Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl

TCU vs. Michigan St. I picked TCU. Final: Michigan St. 17, TCU 16



Well, picking correctly 1 out of 5 ..... ugggh! LOL! That's why I'm not a big Vegas guy.

I'm not at all excited about BYU playing in the Kraft bowl next year. How ghetto is it that the teams are on the same sideline?

Other than OSU Vs Texas and TCU Vs MSU - which of these were interesting?



AFA Vs Rice was close at half due to Rice turnovers, but neither team is interesting this year.b if AFA was better - then it might have been interesting to see them. Near blowout.



ASU Vs Navy was already a mismatch even before the Navy QB playing in place of their injured starter was banged up in the first series. Blowout.



Syracuse Vs W VA might be interesting if we were in Big East and wanted to hate someone.



I have to admit OSU vs Texas and TCU vs MSU are interesting.



Go Beavers. Go Spartans - show TCU what happens when you schedule up. Beavs can help our final ranking stay in the Top 40 and Spartans can hopefully keep us ranked ahead of TCU.

It was interesting to me because I like over 50% of the teams that are playing today. As opposed to other bowl days when I don't follow any of the teams. It's all about perspective. Dat's all.

As a general college football fan, I found this match up interesting because it featured (1) two good QBs, (2) two teams the were former conference-mates, and (3) a team seeking vengeance for recent upsets.

OSU choked.

MSU came through although I had to keep reminding myself that I wanted our old friends TCU to lose - just as further evidence that when you play winnable but closely matched opponents - even the mighty TCU and U win some and lose some. Unfortunately, BSU did not play enough good teams to suffer a similar fate. Maybe next year.

I was kinda surprised OSU and TCU lost. That's why they play the game. You never really know.
