What happened to...

All the shooters Rose supposedly stocked up on during the off season. Seriously, this is two years in a row that we don't have a legit 2. There is no reason why BYU shouldn't be able to find a kid that can hit outside shots. Our shooting percentage is currently ranked 103rd. Pathetic!

Carlino - 24%

Delgado - 11%

Ambrosino - 35%

Calvert - 44% (only bright spot from 3 point land)



Davies and Austin are shooting better behind the arc than any of our guards or forwards. That's horrible. There should be no shortage of LDS kids that can shoot.

I'm more concerned about how hard it is to make a lay up most of the time.

I was wondering the same thing. We desperately need some shooters. They are the equalizer in a ball game where you athleticism doesn't compare to the other teams. Delgado passed up wide open three's several times to drive it inside and miss contested shots or turn it over. Next year we are in even bigger trouble without davis. It could be a long two to three years I'm afraid. What makes it worse is that it looks like Utah is on the rise.
