BYU #15 in Sagarins

it's still real early but if we're going to get a great NCAA seed; we need to beat USU, Arizona, ASU and UNLV because the rest of our schedule is a tad weak (UNM isn't bad). (winning the MWC tourney is a must for a 3-5 seed too)



there are no North Carolinas or Louisvilles on this schedule- we're not going to have any beauty pageant wins or losses.

I am afraid that our past tournament problems will hurt our seed. Does not mean that we we won't get one but I think the best that we can get is about a 6.



By the way thanks for getting the ranking. I was going to look it up myself.

It's a good start for the Cougs. It shows that Sagarin respects BYU's potential based on last season's performance.



A 3 or 4 seed will only happen if BYU wins the conference titles and have at most 2 preseason losses.



This team is very deep and I really expect something special. Freddette will make things happen this season, I sense he'll carry this team at times like another shooting guard did back in '81. Here's to hoping.
