Coach Firings - across the country

Just in case vocal fans are rewarded with a house cleaning, it may be interesting to track firings - see if someone better than Bronco comes up. Track NFL guys too. And when head coaches go - assistants may also get cleaned out. Who knows - maybe we will add a few to the heap.



Arkansas - John L Smith

Cal - Tedford - and speaking of former Cal coaches - Holmoe is available - maybe that was what he meant after hinting at changes when he said "It will be good"



I am sure there are others and will be many more in the next 2 weeks. It is The Season.

After a poor season at NMSU maybe coach Walker is available again... I'd like to see him as a DC at the Y if BM wants to step down from that roll.

He's a great defensive coach, but I doubt Bronco is going to willingly step down from that role.

Auburn and nc state just fired their coaches.

Auburn- Undefeated 2 years ago.

NC State- 7-5 this season.

Auburn didn't care how a good a coach they were getting, they just needed someone whose ethics were suspect enough that they'd look the other way while the boosters paid Scam Newton.

NC State O'Brien got canned because he was 1-14 in ACC roadies.



Bronco needs to take note. We suck on the road against quality teams as well. 2-4 this year.
