My apologies for being a turd

Hey guys. I must admit I am too emotionally involved as a BYU fan and do not like who I am on this site. I shouldn't call people dbags, and whether they are actually dbags is irrelevant. I know a lot of you guys personally on this site and I'm sure you've been less than impressed with me as of late.



I used to be a pretty big homer and loved trolling the realists. I've now become one and it's time to step back and stop wasting my time on a team with a coach that seems not to be as invested in winning as many fans here. And, yes, I really do believe that.I think I'm going to take some time off from here for a while. Most of you guys I really like and you add some great value to the discussion. Even you dbags. ;)



Please remember that BYU needs all of its fans, and if long time fanatics that name their kids after BYU (My kids' middle names include "Ty", "Y" and "Staley") are losing interest, then that may reflect on the fickleness of fans, but it reflects at least as much on the school, too. I stuck around through the Crowton mess but I think this is worse because we should be better. And Bronco should know better. But he doesn't. And I don't think he really cares.

Actually, the turd swirling and swirling is a perfect metaphor for BYU Football post 2009 Bowl Game.



And it will continue to swirl for at least two more years - think of it as the what could have been swirl!



If Jake Heaps turns out to be a COMPLETE BUST at KU, the SWIRLING TURD will go down the drain with Jake. If Jake becomes a Heisman Trophy winner at KU and a 1st round draft pick - The SWIRLING TURD will meet no opposite and resisting force and SWIRL INTO INFINITY.



It will probably end up somewhere in between the two extremes and quit swirling in 5-10 years.
