Bronco needs to add a rule to his system.

Bench the QB (or other player) when he is hurt. Define what is meant by hurt as well.

Make the rule and decision beforehand so your mind is not overwhelmed in the moment of decision during a game. Then have the backup prepared to go in and send him in.



If an injured RN gives you the best chance to win then the preparation of the backup is suspect and that is a coaching issue.



Clearly Nelson was underperforming last night. Add injury to the mix and we grind to halt.



Not wanting to gloss over the O-Line issues (easy to see), or some of the play calling (why did we run over the right guard for so many 2 yard gains over and over again, especially with the blocking fails?). It was maddening to put the 4th and 1 in slow motion and watch TWO blockers completely miss the guy coming up the hole. How can the offense be so assignment inept and the defense so assignment sound comparatively?



Glad it appears TH has our back. Needs to be someone outside of the cauldron to add perspective to the coaches as inside the cauldron emotions and groupthink can alter ones perspective of reality.

New rule: Always have a QB ready to play. Injuries happen all the time. Why does it seem the the starting QB at BYU is the only one capable of playing QB, even in practice.
