So, when your dad pulled you in and confronted you with something and asked you to tell him the truth, is it possible that he already knew it and wanted you to tell him yourself before doleing out punishment? Just a thought.

It is the absolutely appropriate response. He found out what happened. He spoke to those involved. He got a good idea of what happened. He dispensed disipline. He's moving on. The media wants to know if he's going to watch the reruns, he basically says that he has plenty of film to watch and that's not on the agenda. It would only be an issue if someone thinks that he made the wrong call. Anyone really think he made the wrong call?

Let me follow this....Stoudt cannot even return until a YEAR from this January and JJ got one game for breaking the fight up and Sampson is gone and you think Bronco still needs to see something?!?

Only one correction. Stoudt can't apply for re entry into school for 1 year from january. Applying and getting accepted are two different things. IMO stoudt is gone and won't be returning.

Additionally, if the defendant has pled guilty, why should the judge waste everyone's time?

I believe that this is what's known in the real world as a plea deal. The guilty parties have entered their guilty pleas and have received their sentences. So why, after all this, do we need to appoint a jury or the judge need to see the bloody knife?

That's very possible. But, a study on aberrant and bizarre behavior concluded that dudes that called themselves "Cornhole" like to wear delicate items purchased at Victoria's Secret. It makes them feel - "pretty." :lol: :lol: :lol: :bug:

Given that Bronco's decision will have a huge impact on these kids lives, it seems he should spare 5 minutes to see exactly what happened. What's the harm in him watching?

If he made the right decision, why encourage him to watch the tape? I don't see anything on the tape that results in the two dismissed players retaining their spots, or returning to the team this year. I also don't see anything that results in additional players getting further punishments.

It's kind of like a father finding out that one of his sons started being an idiot and ran around campus showing off his :utard: and then, when the father finds out that his son's :utard: was exposed to the whole world, he punishes him severely, then someone comes forward with a video of the son displaying his :utard: . Does the father really need to watch the video of the son's :utard: in order to know that he should punish him for showing off his :utard: ?

Remember, in his statement, he never said that none of the assistant coaches had watched the tape, he never said that he didn't bother to actually get any facts other than the story told by the players, he said that he hasn't and won't watch the tape. Once again we return to, do you really think he made the wrong decision?

I couldn't care less if he watches the tape or not. to be honest i kind of feel bad for sampson, i stress kind of. he didn't start the fight. he was simply protecting his friend like most would. he did take it too far but if stout had never started the fight like a moron then sampson would not have had to bail him out.



as to stout. i would suspend him the rest of the season and allow him to re enter for fall. the one year thing seems like too much to me but i am okay with the decision and glad bronco is not afraid to hold these guys accountable.
