Leach May Be Available Again

For those that dreamed of Leach as HC with Bronco stepping down to DC or Leach as OC with Doman stepping down to QB Coach



He may be available again



Not in a dream scenario for him - more of a nightmare



And talk about mismanaging talent



His #1 receiver just quit - during the season - Marquees Wilson - citing verbal and physical abuse of players. A wide receiver not happy in a pass happy offense.



WSU called for PAC 12 to investigate allegations.

Take it with a grain if salt. One side says Wilson was being disciplined for breaking team rules and then rather than be disciplined decides to quit.



I imagine the truth lies somewhere in between.



That said, Leach can't afford another controversy and if this blows up he won't have much leverage for getting another HC job.

A lot of WSU fans have called Wilson a diva and we all saw him take some plays off against us. There are always players who drop off through coaching changes.

Yeah, Wilson never impressed me. And I agree it's probably part Leach being a jerk and Wilson being a prima donna (a lot of those in Washington it turns out). ;) I'd love for Leach to instill some toughness into BYU's o-line and offense. Would never want him as HC at BYU.



What BYU needs to do is make a serious push at Andy Reid for Offensive coordinator/shared head coaching responsibility. Bronco could do things his way on defense, Reid could do his on offense. Perfect football marriage.

That would be a sight. I'd love it. Don't know if Andy Reid would bend so much after running his show in the NFL. Don't know if Bronco would be willing to bend so much after running his own show. Don't know if we have the budget. We can always dream though eh?

1) Bronco would never allow it. Head Coaches don't accept demotions. Nor should they.

2) Andy would never agree to it. Head Coaches with NFC Championship rings don't take co-head coaching jobs in College.

3) Holmoe would never do it because it might hurt Bronco's feelings.

4) BYU should hire Andy and tell him to bring in whoever the crap he wants to.

Unless there is substance to the claims of abuse, then Leach better not be fired by WSU for at least another 3 seasons.



He deserves at least as much time as Wulff got. This has been a disappointing year, but Leach has a successful track record. Give him some time. It isn't like he inherited a dynasty.
