Why's Patraeus' affair getting more coverage than Benghazi?

Great point. I'm sure that most Americans don't even know where Benghazi is or why it affects them.



We've become a country that is obsessed with who is sleeping with who and who is doing steroids in MLB. Otherwise, the American population doesn't seem to care what the government is doing.

Well, to be fair there was sex involved with Benghazi too, but evidently the post-mortem sodomy of a US Ambassador is just too risque.

Absolutely correct. Need any more evidence the Mainstream Media was protecting Obama from news stories that would hurt him than Benghazi? Heads should roll over the poor judgement and following cover-up.



On all 3 of the Sunday morning political shows (Face the Nation, Meet the Press, and This Week) - 9 days before the election - when Benghazi was brought up - the topic was cut off and changed quickly - and not revisited. :bug:

How about whateverhernamewas, the second moderator, butting in and covering for obama when Libya came up. I'm thinking now Romney should have pulled a Newt Gingrich and not let her and him get away with that.
