I'm definitely not a fan of Rick Reilly, so I was a bit surprised that he even chose to mention the Mormon mission angle, even in passing, because the story would have been fine without it.

When Reilly decides to put in the effort and write something well, he does a good job, but most of his stuff is garbage.
