- Apo had his first back-to-back games above 135 RER of the season. His first such feat since NM St and Hawaii last year.
- The team with the best PER on the day has won 17 of the last 18 BYU games.
- BYU's PER was 139.49. It was the just second game of the season where BYU was above the 135 standard.
- Georgia Tech did not convert a 3rd down. Going to back to 2002 BYU has given up one third down conversion on three occasions, but never zero.
- In the last two games against BYU (2003, 2012), GT is now 1-17 on 3rd down.
- In those two games, BYU has held the ball for 78 minutes and 5 seconds (38:59 in 2012 & 39:06 in 2003).
