It doesn't take any sting out of last week's loss, but it does make me think better of our team.



I think running into two Top 10 teams in a row made it hard to see the progress we were making (especially on offense), but that became a little more apparent today.

And yet everyone was pissed at Bronco all week for saying exactly what you just said.

BUT this week Doman called a better game. He had moments of sheer brilliance against ND and then he'd fall apart. Today he was much more consistent. Yes it was against a MUCH weaker defense, but the difference is JUST the defense. The play-calling was better ... it may have made the difference in the ND game.

Yes, if BYU had a QB who could throw a pass, BYU would have beaten ND--at ND. It's kind of sad that at BYU, we have a weak passing game, no vertical passing game, and a QB who throws far more interceptions that TD passes.



I think BYU is at an end of a weird era, when Heaps was to be the guy, but he flops so bad he has to be replaced by a guy who can't pass, but his eligibility ends in a few weeks, and BYU starts over with a new crop of young, strong armed, strong legged QBs.
