My thoughts on the game today

BYU is better than their record. JDub needs to get the ball more than he does. 28 carries and he has over 100 yards, a good day for him.

When you play two top-ten teams during the season, you'll usually be better than your record.

True. BYU is not a top-ten team ... but last week makes me wonder if we are closer than I had thought ... darn near beat them Irish. (That loss hurts a LOT less right now)

Anyone notice how Williams hasn't fumbled once all year? That I can recall anyway.

But yes BYU is better than their record, considering they farted away two games they absolutely should have won in Utah and BSU. But they didn't, SO THEY ARE NOT. quit the moral victory crap. This was a waisted season that should have been much better. Yes, losing it ND feels better considering what OK Is doing--I guess isn't able to do vs ND. But yes, left that end on e field also.

If Alisa hadn't gotten injured, Jdub would have started taking carries away from him depending on how well either one of them moved the ball with the carries that they get. Dm I understand you hate Bronco and his style but frankly, I like that he brings young players along slowly. Young players that get into the game before they are ready and make major mistakes lose confidence and it breaks them, ala Heaps. Heaps was a broken QB last year when he got benched because he had lost confidence. If BYU could have groomed him, he probably would have torn it up when he got his shot.

May I share mine? That was an impressive defensive effort. Did anyone think we'd hold GT under 200 yards? Anyone? Bronco might be the premier defensive coach against the option.



Riley only needs to be serviceable and we win games.



We really are a good team, record notwithstanding.

This team could have given up and didn't. Credit to coaches for that.

BoiseBYU is right, there is literally no better defensive coach against the option than Bronco.

So according to your theory, a freshman could never take the spot from an upper classman no matter how much more talented he is? Hmmmm, have you ever heard of James lark and Taysom hill?

BYU fans made their presence known Saturday at Bobby Dodd Stadium.



Associate athletic director Duff Tittle said that BYU's ticket office sold 3,500 tickets for Saturday's game and he estimated there were approximately 5,500 Cougar fans in attendance.



"Always good to hear (BYU fans) cheering louder than the home fans," wide receiver Ross Apo tweeted after the game.



Keep in mind, this was GT's homecoming game.
