TCU played a tight game to a depleted ASU team (they're not very good compared to last season with Harden and Pendergraph) but failed to make the best of it and lost.



This is the 2nd important game that the top half of the MWC have lost (SDSU got throttled by St Marys) .



At the end of the day, the RPI only sees W - L so these hurt considering that even a down ASU team and a St Marys playing in a tinker-toy conference will both finish in the top 75 rpi.



I think the verdict is still out on the quality of the rest of our conference... that in no ways benefits the Y.

Very true. I watched the TCU game and I think they're improved this year but still are too inconsistent. They had that game in the bag. Let's hope they can improve quick and that New Mexico, UNLV, and SDSU get some big wins.
