GT runs away with this in the second half

Mark my words.

Our Dline is great in many ways, but is thin and will wear down.

GT will beat us over the top enough to pull our safeties back.

Riley and his band of turnovers will simply not be able to hang onto ball. and byus anemic scheme and limited talent will not keep the clock running and keep our D off the field.

Our Oline will wilt away and our run will sputter just like second half v ND, forcing Riley to huck the duck.

The D will finally start to give up. They have tried to save games all this season and tried to compensate for our woeful offense. But once again they will not be able to depend on our O.

I wish it were otherwise, but GT is back on track and we are trending the wrong way and desperately need some patsies to play.

Wearing down and giving up are two different things. Giving up reflects badly on their character. Imagine DM questioning the character of BYU players.



I actually agree with most of what you said, but do not expect to see anyone quit.



I also expect to see the thin OL struggle, especially CENTER, who is undersized and do not have confidence in our injured kicker.



But, last time I looked, you were ahead of me in the prediction game - I guess I need to check whether there is integrity between the venom you spew and what you actually predict.



Nevertheless - I worry that Y lacks the depth to hang 4 qtrs given that we do not have the talent at enough positions to get a big early lead.

Of course I would expect such a pots and kettles response from such and black and white, hypocritical kind of guy.



When I say quit, I mean wear down and start to come to the realization that this offense is not bringing as much and certainly making their job more and more difficult, succumbing to a season of waisted opportunities and futile hopes that Riley is ever going to get it done. THe facade will wear away and the D will become despondent.

They will realize that Bronco "can't quit" Riley and he will have to resort to other means of motivation, such as Bubba Metal reported.

Don't think for a second that this late in the season vs a "quality" if not tough opponent, that the D will just get sick of giving max effort with Riley and the offense. You can run up hill only so long. This happened vs Utah last year and is starting to show this year.

GT is definitely running away, but more like a Frenchman than a football player.

Happy to say I was wrong. I didn't see the game. Was at KSU game. Can't wait to watch online.

BYU announced that while the game was being played, BYU negotiated for rebroadcast rights - probably cheap since ACC won't be wanting to rebroadcast it.



It will be on Monday Night on BYU TV right after the program Total Blue Sports with Bronco on as a guest. FHE opportunity.



Just close your eyes during the 2nd possession.

Other than one drive with three consecutive and somewhat nit picky personal foul penalties, the D was outstanding.

If you try to run the option against a Bronco Mendenhall defense, you're gonna have a bad time. I don't know why the pessimists ignored this fact when prognosticating about this game.

Because they ignore the dominance that Bronco has had vs. the option and point to the one game against an option team where he wasn't the D coordinator.

This may be a pattern



Option offense may have given him a unique challenge along the way so he masters defending it and wants to run it

Mobile QB gives him problems - embarrassing ones - he masters defending it - and wants to run it.
