Cougar Tip-off

I didn't get to attend but watched the game on byutvsports.com. Came away very, very impressed with Haws. Looked and played with more confidence than he did pre-mission in my opinion. Our team missed every aspect of his game. His mid-range game will definitely help and he and Carlino could combine for a lot of points this year. Auggie appears ready to contribute and will be sorely needed at the 4. Sharp looked ok for the most part except for his monster dunk. He still looks a little clumsy out there. Delgado wasn't the defender I thought he'd be. He was always a step behind his man and even Cusick made him look bad. He's got some work to do to improve. Davies looked awesome and our outside game seemed to be a little improved. It's going to be hard to make up for the defense Noah and Charles provided. Our team is going to take a step back defensively especially if Cusick and Zylstra see a lot of time on the floor
