CougarbibMuch has been said about our fragile QB and our style of play putting even super human QBs like Hill at risk. But, then, didn't someone just post on the Hill injury thread that he was already planning surgery on that very knee to clean up from a high school injury.
So - one opponent at a time.
Washington State - Game 1 - everyone is healthy
Weber State - Riley goes down after hard hit and sits 2nd half. Can't remember if Weber State QB got injured.
Utah - Injured Riley played Poorly vs a very good defense that was blowing up our OL. U QB Jordan Wynn - career ending injury. Wait. Didn't he have season ending surgery last year too? The prior year. Utes play injury prone QBs too.
BSU - Injured Riley played poorly vs another good defense in a ranked team. Can't remember if BSU had any QB injury problems.
Hawaii - Injured Riley sat. UH starting QB last year was out with a season ending injury - can't remember this year - they were too bad - like Weber State. They seemed to suffer more from putting DL at injury of risk this year.
USU - injured Riley sat. TH reinjured old high school injury. USU has had injured QBs to juggle. See last year.
OSU - Riley is healthy. OSU QB is injured. OSU had QB injury last year too.
ND - Riley is healthy. ND QB is injured. ND had QB injury issues last year.
Stuff Happens - almost everywhere.
