More or Less of Bronco on Offense

I think less is more in this case.



My ultimate preference would be for BYU to hire a legit OC and Bronco get out of the way of the offense. But if we're stuck with Doman, then I still think Bronco needs to keep his nose out of the offense and hold Doman accountable for Doman's decisions.

The options seem a bit convoluted.

I picked less, bc his loyalty to Riley seems out of balance.

But I do want his intensity infused as well.

I want more of Bronco on offense, Not in terms of play calling or even personnel choices, but in terms of involvement with players in terms of expectations, and of instilling the same toughness that our D has. Especially with our Oline. They are tougher this year than last, but still not good enough.



So on that note, I also think we need a new Oline coach. I get that Weber is a great guy and his players love him, but his unit has suced 3 years running. Players projected to be high draft picks go undrafted due to dominishing skills. That is not acceptable. We need a tougher Oline coach, a guy who pushes his players hard, and teaches them how to freaking run block.



Then let Bronco do his thing, and have his attitude affect the whole team, not just the D.

I agree with Lawboy 100%.

I think Bronco needs to be completely removed from any influence as to personnel decisions on the offensive side of the ball. For someone who does as much as he can to ignore the nuts and bolts of the offense, I don't think he should be deciding who the starting players on offense should be, trumping the OC and position coach.

Bronco has enough on his plate as Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator. Now he's supposed to micro-manage the offense too? When he's said himself that he really doesn't have a mind for the offensive side of the ball?



No, what he needs is simply somebody that is as good on offense as Bronco is on defense. Somebody that he can turn the offense over to without any worry.
