Lavell's influence

It is one thing to lose but the irony of losing to teams that use an offense that is closer to a Lavell Edwards style than what BYU is currently doing rubs a little salt in the wound.



The ability of OSU to stretch the field is what gave BYU's D fits.



In fact it seems like every college football team is more influenced by Lavell than BYU is.



(I know that is an exaggeration.)

Fans back in the day used to wonder what Lavell's offense could do if powered by elite athletes. Unfortunately, we have seen the answer to that question a few times.
