Blood Runs Blue on the kicking game

Our first string kicker never recovered from his injury. Our second string kicker can't hit from outside the 2 and can only hit sometimes inside the 2. Our 3rd string kicker just got injured in the Utah State game. I think the coaches need to poll the team and find out if anyone has any experience kicking.

What's sad is that the lone bright spot in our kicking game (Stephenson = #4 nationally in net punting) is more a function of a poor offense that can't get across midfield than a function of stellar punting. Guys punting from midfield don't have as many changes for long punts to up the average, and Stephenson has been punting from inside our own redzone waaaaaaaaaaay too much.

Man, this thread got cold. Oh, there's the Snocloud again, making sure someone's accomplishments have an asterisk next to them.



Just joshin ya sno(cloud). Actually a pretty astute observation. Hadn't thought of that, but BYU's offense is punting from their side of the field way too much. They did a much better job vs USU though!
