Why do BYU players get hurt so quickly?

Taysom has 55 carries and now may be out. Riley got hurt sometime during his 36 rushes. Alisa made it all of 23 rushes.



Williams is now at 54 touches....

I hate answering questions with questions, but...



Does BYU suffer more injuries statistically, than other football programs?



Does the limited contact in fall camp prevent weaning out injury prone players that catches up during the season?



Then, sorry to sully, but have to...is our current Offensive scheme promote higher rate of injuries among qb''s? I thin PK we know the answer to this question. And that is at least half of the answer to your question.

Another question, if we practice to limit injuries, why are we employing an offensive scheme that seems to increase that risk?

Here's an idea....get rid of the green shirts and find out once and for all who the toughest really is. ;-)

Light hitting in practice worked out pretty well for the defense.
