I do think 19 carries is a bit much but how many of them were on him as option plays where he decides to keep it or when he tucks it and runs on a pass play. It seems like there are a ton of QBs out there who run the ball alot. And I think they are harder to stop then those who don't. He did attempt 36 passes so I wouldn't say they didn't throw the ball enough. Its tough to say who made the decisions on the run plays. Is it Hills or Domans. Bottom line we played a very good D and put up 380 yards. Lots of points left on the field missed FG, missed XP, fumble by Lasike in the first quarter. Not sure you can put all that on Brandon Doman. Its kinda funny how when RA was here everyone wanted them to run the ball more..... Now everyone wants them to pass it more. I guess its a lose-lose situation to be OC at BYU...... Glad I don't have a bunch of guys sitting and watching my work and telling me how its suppose to be done when they probably couldn't do it themselves.

So now tell us, where the average starting position was, did utah's defense/special teams put them in better positions to score, etc etc etc.





Win is a win is a win. The final score matters. Utah scored more than BYU vs USU, and they lost, remember? I guess you'd rather have those points than the W though.

No, winning and losing matter most, we won, they lost. (to usu that is).

Te issue is, QB running has been glorified in this scheme and team. It ought to be preserving the qb not relying so heavily upon it.



It's a case of the "Goose and the Golden Egg." we have now cut open two geese and DID NOT learn, as Bronco claims, from Rileys injury.



NOW, the problem is, if you take away the running qb scheme from Riley, this next week, we have A one dimensional qb with an average arm. Houston, we have a problem.

Instead of RN running the RBs need to take the load. Maybe Lasinke needs to play more. He can run up the middle or block for Williams. A couple screens and bubble passes would be good. Maybe even try a draw to see what happens.
