This could be an undefeated team and Utah could be 1-4

Thanks to an incredible defense, we are obnoxiously close to being undefeated and in the top 10 in college football, AND just as important to me and what will bother me all season:



We could have put the death nail in Utahs season and quite possibly taken all wind out of their sails r/t Pac 12 membership, their claim as a relevant team, bowl eligibility, etc. etc. etc.



All it would have taken is one of either of these things:



1. Any amount of foresight as to the kicking game; a juco kicker with any bit of a resume would have us 5-0.



2. An offensive game plan that minimizes turnovers and maximizes red zone scoring opportunity (kind of goes back to the kicking game to an extent)



Whatever happens through the rest of this season; our stellar defense deserves better than a 3-2 start

Yep.



BYU is LOADED with former/current soccer players. Can we have an open tryout on campus this week? With a D like ours any semblance of a competent kicking game could be the difference between winning or losing out the rest of the season.
