It's All on the OLine

If the changes that were made last week to the OLine are as good as I hope they are, we win this game tonight but 10+. If not it will be a loss.



If BYU wins tonight, we are in a bowl. If not it is a losing season for BYU. The SJSU game will be our final loss.



Tonight is huge!!

Tonight is huge and OL is key. And a loss to USU at home would be very tough to take. But, there is a lot of football to be played between now and SJSU and a new OL, Freshman QB, and 17 year-old RB should improve each week due to experience.

You are probably right.

OL needs to show the same aggression they showed last week.

I think the combination of T. Hill, J. Williams and the O-line changes will propel BYU. It is not one thing, it is all 3.

+1. Yep. I am hoping a better executing, confident, turnover proof (keeping my fingers crossed) Cougar offense shows up tonight. I expect a very tough game.

My worry is that last week we were playing against the 110th ranked rushing defense, which lost 2 of it's starters in the first quarter.



I have high hopes that we will continue to see progress, but it obviously wont be as dominating as it was against Hawaii.

While I agree that the Oline needs to play well, similar to how they played against Hawaii, this game will be won or lost due to turnovers. If BYU plays without turnovers, we win, if we have a bunch of them like we did against BSU or we give up a free touchdown to utah state like we did against BSU and utah we will lose again. With this defense, BYU's offense just needs to be a good steward of the ball and we win.

Not doing so hot tonight. Few bigs runs, Hill rarely has time to just set and throw from the pocket. Still, only one sack so far, by my count - though that's possibly a product of Hill tucking and running so quickly.

And they really sucked bad tonight. How many holds do we need? Seriously? Drive killers. Our offensive line is trash.

BYU +1 on turnovers and our D dominates and we win. It is all about the turnovers.
