What Color You Wearing Tonight?

Since Blue is Better has been informally checking wardrobe colors - a poll is in order

The Bibster borrowed a Blue BYU sweatshirt for the game even though rumors indicate the shade of Blue was borrowed or stolen.



Should be a ton of stolen Blue tonight.

I thought I read that BYU is requesting everyone wear blue to the game - absolutely.

There's no such thing as a "borrowed" color. The idea is ridiculous and only held by small minded individuals (those who can only get into USU).



Do you expect that every university in the country is going to have a unique color? Blue has a long tradition in the LDS culture (as well as in popular culture) as representing Truth. Of course BYU is blue.

I vowed to take the color thing more seriously this year - in the past, I would have worn whatever BYU attire I grabbed off the shelf and tossed in my duffle bag for the trip - Yelliw - blue green - etc. even had a white button up with some pink on it. Or an aloha shirt or other non-BYU attire.



Got rid of everything when I lost weight. Kept 1 Blue t-shirt.



It is the wrong blue and then I spilled paint on it on this trip.



Then the white-out threw a wrinkle.



Thus I borrowed one until I can get time to go shopping for the complete BYU wardrobe - 1 blue one and 1 white one.

And various shades of TRUTH over time. Some BYU fans still prefer Royal Blue. That is different than the purportedly stolen Blue. The whole thing seems silly to me.



But I am committed to trying to wear the shade of Blue I am supposed to wear - if there is such a thing.



I prefer the Bibs - but never owned one.



So exactly what shade of The Truth will you wear tonight.



BTW - back when I still had it - I used to drape my tattered BYU flag over the mantle above the TV whenever I was relegated to watching on TV. It was dark blue and usually brought good luck. When I drove to the games - hung it on the windows. Had two originally. Thus the Tattering.

I always wear my Cougar blue t-shirt all day long for every game. Too bad the cameras wont see me in Oregon.

Another fantastic poll by someone on my ignore list.

The navy blue is a more modern shade. The classic royal blue has a very 80's retro feel to it. That's why we switched. It had nothing to do with USU.



I still love the retro jerseys, and I wish we would bring them out at least once a year, but our current shade looks better for this century.

I'll have my white game shirt on, but since it's going to be colder, I'll have my blue BYU jacket handy.

It was a tough decision. I've got a white shirt, but because it's possibly going to be colder, later on, I have my BYU blue jacket. I thought white would distinguish me more from any USU fan that might annoyingly be in attendance.

White looks great and the white-out was much more striking in the seats than the blue sections turned out.

This does seem like a strange game for BYU to ask everyone to wear blue

I'm wearing blue and a BYU tie in my living room when the game starts, but probably changing to white in bed before the game ends. :P

AGreed that the royal was retro, which is why BYU should bring it back (retro is now en vogue) and why BYU never should have left it. Fashion is temporary, always go with TRADITION!!!!!!

you know for all this how utah state always says we stole their blue, it sure looks like they are wearing white and black tonight.



which is why i've always been a fan of the royal blue, the navy tends to look like black without the right lighting.
