I have to admit that the royal blue + black combo really looks sharp together.



Can't believe I'm going to miss the game in person.

Helmet logo should have been blue with white Y instead of the inverse. Oh well, could have been worse I guess.

Agreed. This looks better, but I love the matte black.

I love LOVE these unis--especially the royal blue throwback. And the game on ABC in the afternoon! The helmet is especially sweet.

I like the unis as well. If they bring a win, maybe worth bringing back for another game. It's probably not too late to change the sticker logo if someone has connections with the football office. Maybe a call in campaign to change to the blue logo instead of white?

Man, that royal really pops. Too bad it's not a color we see more often (like every game).

Anyone know if they are going to be selling a ton of black BYU t-shirts at Friday night's game? I just went on the BYU Bookstore website and they don't sell a single black t-shirt. So far BYU's marketing is also getting a fail for not having black apparel ready to go as soon as they announced the black out.

Nevermind I just tried the bookstore again and searched for black out instead of clicking on the categories. BYU expected the game to be given late night slot on ESPN. But with BYU and OSU being prominent they went with the afternoon slot after plans were already in place for black jerseys.

It is just a sticker, so they should be able to make the revision if they really wanted to. I can try to see what I can do in terms of emailing people in the ADs office I guess.
