Brandon Doman, the everyman?

We've seen this time and again and I'm not sure why. But it is commonly held by the fans that Brandon Doman is ascribed with great abilities and is only held back by someone above him.



In the olden days, when the offense was bad, Brandon Doman had these great plays up his sleeve, but Anae wouldn't let him run them. Then when BYU had big offensive outtings the rumor was that Brandon Doman had been involved in play calling and/or came up with the game plan.



Whenever there has been a QB issue, Brandon Doman has always been pulling for the QB that the particular group of fans wants, but Bronco Mendenhall wont let him make the switch.

Do I smell a wafting of conspiracy theory here?

See Bronco was right. Fan opinion is based on ignorance. Doman is the Ocoordinator, they play the QB that he wants to play. When Robert Anae was here, he was calling the plays when the offense played well and when it didn't. Doman is completely responsible for the offenses issues with the Oline and turnovers. It is his job to make sure every position on the offense is performing like it should. If the Oline isn't performing, he needs to get his coach to coach correctly or replace him. Doman will make the call this Friday who starts and plays at QB, not Bronco.
