OSU vs UCLA

Oregon state up 17-3. OSU is a legit team. BYU's strength of schedule is looking pretty tough this year. I have my tickets to the OSU game, looks like it is going to be a good one.

Yea I am getting worried that we might not end up bowl eligible.

Legit or not, I don't think they will do anything against our defense. Don't get me wrong, I think the game is going to be fun because we are going to beat a legit team. BYU is going to be bowl eligable. They just need to clean up the turnovers on offense and we win out.

Our O needs to produce or we'll get shut out and lose in 7-6 fashion. You seem to think that we're going to magically heal a terrible offense 5 games into the season. I think that is foolish based on personnel and based on the overall ineptitude of our coaches.

The issue is, the longer our defense is on the field, the more banged up they will be. We need offensive production now and we don't have any games that are sure things until late, by then we could be bowl eligible or we could be a 7 loss team.

I still believe we win all our home games, including Oregon State and Utah State.

Looking on the bright side, both of these teams are going to murder utah.

If we don't turn the ball over, we win 13-0 (probaby 14-0 since Bronco wouldn't have gone for 2), in the BSU game. If we don't turn the ball over we win 21-14 over utah. I am not worried about our offense, it is fine without the turnovers.

Reading comprehension dude, I have stated about 100 times since the BSU loss that BYU's defense is good enough to keep us in every game for the rest of the year if our offense doesn't turn the ball over. If we clean up the turnovers we win.

I have not said "other than our losses, we are undefeated" You are denying that it is possible for teams to clean up mistakes.

I have not said "other than our losses, we are undefeated" You are denying that it is possible for teams to clean up mistakes.

I admire, covet and pity your optimism all at the same time. I'm not denying anything. But I seriously doubt it. I am sure our eventual cleaning up of mistakes will coincide with schedule, ultimately improving post Oct 27.

But back to the topic......if you don't mind stopping your bickering....



When I Watched a few quarters of this game, I found myself in envy of UCLA's passing game.

I know they lost the game, but they, and OSU, know how to throw the ball down field. BYU does not OR cannot, one of the two. BYU under Riley and Doman has become dink and dunk (and a poor one at that). defenses are cheating and BYU is getting pinched into tuck, duck and run. Heck of an identity. Oh how the mighty BYU pass attack has fallen.

Wazzu just lost to the worst team in FBS--Colorado! Ouch.

I've been watching football all day and I find myself envious of every single schools offensive line. Not a single line has been completely blown up on every single play. Boy, how would that feel?

Anything is possible - that does not mean everything is probable.



This boils down to the OL. They have not protected the QB or blocked effectively. When that changes the entire offense will improve.

Georgia Tech lost again - a close one to Miami - do not discount GT



WSU and Utah not looking impressive - maybe we are even worse than some of our most dejected fans think



Have not heard how Weber State is doing since they banged up our QB



ND is hot



Basically - Hawaii, Idaho now look to be our easiest games.
