Not Fair Weather Fan

I'm not a fair weather fan. I've watched or attended pretty much every game since I can remember except for my mission.



But I simply don't WANT to watch any more game this year. It's not that I only support the team when they are winning and I bail out when they lose. I will still watch the team play all year, but dangit....I simply don't look forward to the games. I don't like listening to Bronco talk about the team. He annoys me. He's a robot, programmed for poor clock management and asinine late-game decisions.



This team lost its identity a couple years ago and there is no sign that they will get it back any time soon. As the Joker once said, this team needs an enema.



It would take an extinction-level event to get me to stop watching BYU football, but I'm pissed that Bronco isn't capable of putting a team on the field that doesn't make me sick to watch.

I am just like you. I have figured out how to be able to watch games the last few games.



Just have a good time and find the humor in what you are seeing. Be an armchair coach, because honestly, I have full faith that you are a better play caller than Doman. I think both Doman and Bronco are on their way out. It is like visiting a terminally ill friend who is functioning and has some time to live but it is obvious the end is coming.



The end is coming for these coaches, even though it probably won't be this year. Recruiting will suffer big time, the coaches have lost control of the players and I imagine team unity sucks, the fans are getting pissed, we have become the #3 team in the state, independence will speed up our death, etc.



Things are not looking good! At least we have Bball!

Yep and there is a reason you are just that a arm chair coach......... How many offensive plays have you called in a game that worked? All this BS about fire this guy or that guy....... Good grief I have never heard such a bunch of cry babies in all my life...... You know I hope you get your wish and when BYU's record is like New Mexicos or UNLV's we will see how you like that..... Hey tell me again who we just lost to..... Oh ya a team that hasn't lost 2 games in a year since 2007...... Yep we better fire the whole dang staff start over from scratch.....

5 turnovers on the road and we lose by 1 point and everyone thinks the sky has fallen. There are NO moral victories, we still lost by 1 point just like in 04 when Payne missed a chip shot FG that lost us the game, we are 2 points from beating a team that has only lost 3 home games since 00. Like I said in my silver lining thread, this defense is good enough to give us a shot in every game we have left on our sched. We just need the offense to quit turning the ball over and we win. We don't need a wholesale shake up of the entire team.

This isn't about how close we were to winning and how good BSU is or isn't. I just find that this team is not entertaining to watch. Games are a frustrating experience. The team doesn't seem to have an identity. If we played a good game and lost I would be more supportive. But the team is playing horrible, undisciplined football with a ton of mistakes compounded by simply strange decisions by the coaches. So while I will continue to watch the games because i love BYU football I just wish the games weren't so frustrating and disappointing.
