Wrong wrong. Bronco had some bonehead calls, but only two. Leaving in Nelson at least one possession too long ( I would argue more) and going for two!! Stupid but not firable. Stupid thread.

Fire Doman. Lamest BYU offense in the history of BYU. If I tell in my living room when BYU is going to go with the option, something is horribly wrong.

Not quite sure you understand how coaching works. Plenty of places would be happy to offer Bronco a HC position if demoted at BYU. It's either HC or no Bronco. And contrary to many people's beliefs around here, BYU is not a "destination" coaching school, so who are you going to hire to replace him?

Word. You don't fire your HC and make him your DC, ever. There's no good option out there. The defense (Bronco's defense) is UNBELIEVABLY good. So you don't fire bronco.



You DO fire Doman, hire the best OC you can afford (doesn't have to be LDS), and you tell Bronco that he doesn't get to pick any more Rudy's for the QB spot. Then you buy a time machine, go back and play the last two games and put some mf points on the board.

At a minimum, I think Doman should lose game planing and/or play calling duties.

Maybe Reynolds. But when he was the OC back 1999 and 2000 we didn't exactly have stellar offense either.
