redneckjediSeems like this was about 5 days late, but I finally had a dream about BYU football creaming Utah.
We were down 17-3, when our defense decided it had had enough. They were blowing up the line, and getting a sack or a TFL on every single play. The bad guys had to punt from their own 16, and shanked it low down the left sideline to about the 40, where Falslev grabbed it, juked a guy out of his mind, reversed field, and scored it. Next time we got the ball back, Jamaal Williams took a dive straight up the middle to the house, tie game. After the kickoff, our defense bludgeoned them back to the 1 yard-line, and on 3rd down they managed to fumble a toss out of the back of the endzone for a safety. After the free kick, we ran a reverse with David Foote (Seriously? Who called that play?), who goes in untouched for the long score. From then on, it was total domination. Sick defense, big holes and long runs. Not a lot of passing, but a lot of points.
In an unrelated dream, we were playing some crappy school, and managed to win 140-0. We had something like 3 consecutive interceptions to start the game, and their tackling was so laughably bad that almost every run, even if it was just a dive designed to run clock and mercifully shorten the game, was going for 6.
Hopefully it's a good omen! Last time I had a dream like this, it was 2008, and BYU was beating UCLA by 70. Had Bronco not called off the dogs, we would have...
