Refs Were Good

I was surprised how good the refs were. I only saw one bad call where a Ute pushed Stephenson in the back and there was no call. Clearly they weren't PAC 12 refs right? It took guys shooing fans off the field twice and they worked hard to keep control of the game. And I don't think all of Whit's crying and whining affected them.

I give those refs all the credit in the world. Especially with the calls at the end of the game in spite of the fan pressure surrounding them.



If those had been PAC 10.2 officials, you know they would have called the game over the first time around.

The only thing that pissed me about the refs were the bad spots in the 1st half. The one ref consistently placed the ball about a yard back after crucial plays.



Aside from that I must agree. They got after the yewts for the many personal fouls too. For that I am grateful. And they called everything right at the end of the game. Many Ute fans have complained that the refs did all they could to "give the game to BYU", but they followed the rule book and were very fair.

I forgot the moment when the ref told the clock dude put time back and don't do diddly until I tell you to....

The guy controlling the clock was an obvious :utard:. Like we have noted many times, they can't win by playing fair, so they have to resort to trickeration, deception, and cheating.
