Who is the most overrated team in CFB this year?

I think Florida may be even more overrated than Texas this year. They have only played one team with more than 6 wins so far this season. That team, LSU, has the #107 ranked offense in the country right now. Florida beat them 13-3, in their lowest scoring game of the season. Anyone who watched the Florida-Arkansas game saw that Arkansas completely dominated the Gators in the swamp and should have won the game (if it were not for the honorable SEC refs).



Texas' schedule is pretty pathetic too, though. Neither are more deserving than TCU.

Totally agree. There were many on the TV during the Cincy game yesterday who are trying to say that Cincy should jump TCU because they are in a BCS conf and that would put them in a position to compete for the NC if Tex or one of the SEC teams faltered. Totally crazy logic!!!

In all honesty, TCU might be the best team right now. I think the two best teams are TCU and Texas. They just aren't struggling against their current competition. Both had tough games early, but have simply dominated teams the last six, seven games. Florida and Alabama are really struggling against lesser teams.

Lies, BYU and Utah are right where we should be. Pitt, LSU... Hell yes. I hate seeing Houston still in there, 2 losses coming to UTEP and UCF and you can still be ranked (in AP poll), Craziness.

Are there really some people that think that Cincinnati is NOT overated?

I don't think Cincy is overrated, but that's only because they're my #2 team behind BYU. :whistle:

Pittsburgh will lose to WV next week and then the following week Pitt will beat Cincinnati. I am calling it right now.

I think the top 5 rankings are pretty accurate at this point. I really think that TCU should be closer to Texas than they are, given the fact that TCU has beaten better teams and done so more convincingly than Texas. Texas has blown up patsies, and squeaked by decent teams, while TCU has steamrolled anyone and everyone the past 6 weeks. I think the people who diss Cincinnati are people who haven't watched the Bearcats play the past couple of years and who simply think they are another Big East paper-giant. I don't think Cincinnati is better than TCU, but I definitely think Cincinnati is better, and has proven more, than the next four teams down (Boise State, Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh, Ohio State).

Some of my anti Cincy sentiment comes from growing up in Memphis(They were in the same conference for a long time). Cincy was NEVER good in football...Years later they become part of the Big East and low and behold a two years after being in that conference and they are world beaters (Mind you against nobody going 10-3). Two years later and now this is what we get. My contention is that the Big East as a wholeIS a paper bag giant. Yes, they have had some decent wins this year (Oregon St, S Florida) but I still am not impressed by the games I have seen from them this year.

IMHO - most over rated - USC & Cicncy.

However, USC has been exposed.

College Gameday Final showed a graphic with TCU having a better SOS vs Texas, along with 3 wins vs ranked opponents vs 1 for Texas.... Sad that TCU is possibly the best team in Texas and wont sniff the NC.

I think Cincy has been great. They've absolutely KILLED most opponents, and done it while dealing with serious QB injuries and playing their back-up A LOT.

I would not say killed, maybe, got past, but not killed.
