Special teams lost us the game

60 yard punt return 2 missed FG's. Special teams lost us the game.

Special teams did botch it, no question. But this shouldn't have even been close. They were down both safeties, their first string qb, and their first string running back. Our offense was anemic for most of the game. This was more than just special teams.

Or a single bad snap lost us this game, hence the O-line (not to mention their eight penalties...).

And the Oline. And Doman. And Riley.

In other words, it was a total team effort! Out coached, out played, out everythingd'.



As I've stated before, I'm really pleased we put so much effort into finding reliable kickers. It's not like we ever need em'. Oh well, here's to another 8 or 9 win season losing to our rivalry and anyone else with a winning record on our schedule.

I'm sorry but Riley sucks........he continually makes bad decisions, can't throw the ball across the field to save his life. Doesn't get the ball out quick enough, runs when he shouldn't, doesn't pass when he should. The O-line gave him plenty of time to make plays he just sucked it up. Riley was clearly out of it today and should have been pulled in the 3rd quarter. This game shouldn't have ever been in question with Utah's missing personnel. Our run game with Alisa and Williams was good we just didn't use it enough. Oh yeah......how about lets scratch that frickin' option play unless Hill is running it. Props to the D' for keeping us in the game tonight but our Offense, Riley, blows goats......It's complete inadequacy when a guy like Apo doesn't even get a ball thrown his direction. Let Lark play so we can open the play book. Let Riley be inspirational from the sideline. Bronco better learn to swallow his pride in a hurry.
